The Bedok Town Netball Team provides opportunities for its members to develop leadership, self-discipline and sportsmanship. We also aim to cultivate a lifelong love for the game in the players. Through their training sessions and activities, the netballers learn to apply the school values; responsibility, respect, integrity, tenacity, teamwork, and excellence.

Each year, the girls look forward to participating in the Schools Challenge League as well ad hoc carnivals to gain experience and build better bonds among their team mates and teachers. In order to achieve an all-round excellence, a holistic training programme has been planned for them; Some of these programmes include an annual camp which usually ends off with an outing of their choice and a Community Involvement Programme project. Both programmes aim to imbue in them values like teamwork, compassion and self confidence.

For their community involvement programme last year, the girls collaborated with the school’s NE/CIP programmes. They went round to the neighbouring blocks to educate the residents about the importance of recycling and encouraged residents to leave any recyclables outside their homes on stipulated dates for collection by other BTSS students.
